Tampon Club

Tampon Club

Design for Alice Bartlett

2014  2014

Office bathrooms in the UK stock everything cis-men might need, but often don’t have sanitary products for people who have periods. Alice had the idea to start “Tampon Club” as part of starting a conversation about periods in the workplace, luxury taxes on tampons, and having a collective stash of sanitary products in the GDS bathrooms. I designed the logo and branding, so the boxes of tampons and sanitary towels wouldn’t be thrown away by mistake. It became a self-sustaining community, used by other tech companies like FutureLearn, discussed on BBC radio and written up in Vice, Core77 and How We Get to Next.

With creative direction from Alice Bartlett and copywriting from Matt Sheret.
