Mark led the design of GOV.UK from 2012 to 2019, during which it won Design of the Year (2013) and D&AD Black, Yellow and Wood pencils (2013 & 2019). Before that he worked at the BBC (2008 to 2012) on several BBC News redesigns and the widely-imitated BBC Global Experience Language (GEL).
Having spent a decade proving that nation-scale institutions can compete with anything made by private companies, he is now looking for projects that challenge how we understand our built and digital environments. And some smaller fun things.
