Branding for BBC World Service

I designed and templated a coherent set of new brand assets for BBC World Service channel Learning English, expanding on the updated BBC GEL brand guidelines. Learning English is primarily a digital channel, so all graphics needed to incorporate the portrait and square aspect ratios found on platforms like Instagram and Tiktok, as well as tradition 16:9 TV format.
The production titles and graphics will be created by programme producers (on strictly-managed corporate computers) rather than professional designers, so I had to work within a very tight set of constraints. I set up all the templates and assets as self-documenting Photoshop Elements files, using fonts already installed on World Service devices.
